Launched in March 2012 by Hassad Food, Qatar’s premier investor in the agriculture and livestock sectors, Roza Hassad has established a new 5.5-hectare, state-of-the-art flower production facility based in Al Shahaniya, Qatar, the first of its kind in the region. The facility has advanced, multi-span, high-roofed greenhouses, with fully automated controls, and utilizes an advanced, computerized fertilization process. It has its own electricity supply, a reverse osmosis facility and adopts all possible environmentally friendly systems.
