Created and established in 2010 as Just Gym. The vision of Sheik Mohammad Bin Thamer Al-Thani, managing director, was to create a gym in which to develop and pioneer the fitness industry in Doha, driving the ethos of health and fitness forward. In 2012 the concept of Just Gym grew further and developed into Just Be Active (JBA), becoming the home of 24 hours fitness. Running further, in 2013, JBA became a part of Qatar International Sports Services (QISS) a leader in sports management and operations, launching now as Qgym, with the vision to be the complete fitness complex, comprised of over 24,000 square meters, which facilitates a colossus gym, mammoth Olympic swimming pool, and a mixed martial arts academy (MMA). Qgym is the largest gym and fitness facility in Doha and in the GCC. Qgym is also home to over 300 resistance machines and fitness equipment, housing the largest amount of fitness related equipment within any facility in Qatar with an extensive variety to suit the desired needs of all.
