With our experience in constructing international projects at the highest level we have made a name for ourselves – worldwide. Vision, courage and expertise have been the keys to our success all around the world. Since our first international operation in 1891, we have been implementing global projects and have left our mark on all continents. For example, we were in Argentina in 1911 with harbour facilities, built railways in Iran in 1938, hydro electric power plant in Iraq in 1953. The first international railway in Nigeria was built in 1959, 1965 we finished water barrage in Pakistan and 1967 dams in Morocco. Today, the STRABAG Group has operations around the world – in more than 60 countries worldwide in all classical and niche construction segments.
