وصف الشركة The Zakat Fund is a national charity dedicated to helping the needy through the proper collection, management and distribution of Zakat. As one of the Five Pillars of Islam, Zakat plays an important role in Qatari society. It is a source of blessing for the community that connects the rich with the poor. Zakat also serves as a reminder that all things, including wealth, belong to Allah. To help the people of Qatar manage their donations, the government established the Zakat Fund in 1994. It now operates as a department under the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, with collection boxes and offices scattered throughout the country.
