Lagoon Energy is a Qatari national contracting firm, specialized in Electrical, Mechanical and Maintenance Works. The company was established in January 2006 as a result of successful partner-ship agreement between Energy Sources, of Saudi Arabia, and Lagoon Qatar. Lagoon Energy specializes in general mechanical, electrical and plumbing works for commercial and residential buildings, installation of street lighting, medium and low voltage electrical works, low current installations including security systems, etc. In additional to conventional MEP construction and installation practice, the company has the local expertise and resources to perform jobs on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis and also on Engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning (EPIC) basis. The company has capabilities and sufficient resources to perform jobs on contracts totaling BHD38 million at the same time. Lagoon Energy was founded in January 2006 between Lagoon Qatar (51%) and Energy Sources (49%) of Saudi Arabia. The company has successfully performed and implemented several jobs ever since its establishment, yet currently involved in fairly sizable MEP jobs. The company is currently undergoing some major expansion by introducing new services in association with some reputable international partners. Such expansion will include high voltage installation and industrial E&M installations and plant erection.
