Vision MOEI is committed to building a robust industrial sector that can: Help the State of Qatar achieve balanced economic growth. Diversify the country’s revenue sources. Goals The ministry’s responsibilities and goals include: Develop and support industrial ventures that help diversify the economy. Maximize the added value of intermediate materials. Encourage the private sector to increase its participation in industrial development. Increase the manufacturing sector’s contribution to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Encourage and develop both clean and energy-intensive industries. Strengthen the integration of the oil and gas sector with the manufacturing sector; while encouraging similar integrations for other industries. Maximize productivity through the integration of operating industrial projects.
