The Academic Bridge Program (ABP), a center of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, is a premier pre-university program established for high school graduates from Qatar and other countries in the region. The ABP is located in the architecturally stunning, LAS (Liberal Arts and Sciences) building on the campus of Education City in Qatar. Since our program was established in 2001, more than 2,500 students (mostly Qatari high school graduates, but also students from over 30 other countries) have graduated from our program. Many have enrolled at one of the universities in Education City, at Qatar University, or at universities in the U.S or the U.K. Over 90% of our graduates are admitted to university each year.

As part of a substantial national investment in human development and in partial fulfillment of the educational goals articulated in the Qatar National Vision 2030, the State of Qatar created the Community College of Qatar (CCQ). It was recognized that community colleges provide a diverse range of opportunities including college level courses for academic transfer, critical job training to meet workforce and labor needs, and corporate and continuing education. No other educational institution in Qatar offers this range of education and training options, and CCQ is a Qatari college that serves only citizens of Qatar.
CCQ opened its doors for the first time in September 2010 with an enrollment of 304 full-time students.
In Fall of 2011, CCQ has more than doubled its enrollment with 672 full and part-time students at the West Bay and C-Ring Road Campuses. Current students are pursuing studies in core courses for university transfer in English, Math, Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, as well as short-term workforce certificates and corporate training courses needed for business and industry. Finally, CCQ also provides foundation coursework in English, Math, and Office skills as preparation for future studies or personal enrichment

To help training centres, and other training providers, demonstrate that their training satisfies the high standards needed to meet the membership requirements of this fast growing internationally based occupational health and safety professional organisation, IIRSM have introduced a Training Approval scheme which is available as a package of Approval Centre, trainer and course. Please note that IIRSM is not an examining body nor a certification body. Approval does not guarantee acceptance of your course at any particular membership level as short courses and non-certificate, non-diploma courses are also open to the shceme.

Since being the first NEBOSH accredited Training Provider to export the NEBOSH National General Certificate, NGC, outside the UK shores, (Borneo 1994), BSS have gone on to score several other firsts.
We were also one of the trusted few chosen to pilot the NEBOSH International Construction Certificate in the UAE
BSS are extremely proud of their exceptional results and pass rate with the NEBOSH National General Certificate.
When it was founded in 1991, BSS had the express intention of taking on the established old boys club of existing consultancy and training organisations. As such, unlike all of our competitors at the time, we were again first in publishing our examination results as we are happy and proud to be judged by our results, not with vague statements BUT WITH FACTS!
In 2009, BSS held 35 NEBOSH Certificate Level courses worldwide with a total of 387 delegates. Of these 83% gained their NEBOSH qualification. 75% of these students who sat their NEBOSH courses with BSS gained either a Credit or Distinction. Additionally, of all the students who passed these NEBOSH Certificate level courses with BSS 84% achieved either a Credit or Distinction.

QISC has adopted British, European and American Standards in all aspects of its operations and has worked to achieve recognition and certification for international standards in quality of service. QISC was the first Training Centre in the State of Qatar.
