Since being the first NEBOSH accredited Training Provider to export the NEBOSH National General Certificate, NGC, outside the UK shores, (Borneo 1994), BSS have gone on to score several other firsts.
We were also one of the trusted few chosen to pilot the NEBOSH International Construction Certificate in the UAE

When it was founded in 1991, BSS had the express intention of taking on the established old boys club of existing consultancy and training organisations. As such, unlike all of our competitors at the time, we were again first in publishing our examination results as we are happy and proud to be judged by our results, not with vague statements BUT WITH FACTS!
In 2009, BSS held 35 NEBOSH Certificate Level courses worldwide with a total of 387 delegates. Of these 83% gained their NEBOSH qualification. 75% of these students who sat their NEBOSH courses with BSS gained either a Credit or Distinction. Additionally, of all the students who passed these NEBOSH Certificate level courses with BSS 84% achieved either a Credit or Distinction.

With a vision to develop a facility which would achieve specific commercial and industrial training requirements required by companies operating in the Gulf region, Qatar International Safety Centre (QISC) was founded in 2001.
QISC has adopted British, European and American Standards in all aspects of its operations and has worked to achieve recognition and certification for international standards in quality of service. This credibility has been further enhanced by forming strategic partnerships with internationally renowned organizations such as OPITO, DNV, IADC, IVV, IWCF, IOSH, IMO, Atlas Interactive and the British Safety Council. QISC was the first Training Centre in the State of Qatar.
These collaborations have allowed us to offer training courses covering a wide variety of disciplines.
