The Supreme Education Council - Formerly known as the Ministry of Education - for the State of Qatar, is responsible for all publicly-funded pre-school; schools and the administration of higher education. "Education for a New Era" Established by Emiri decree #37 in November 2002, the Supreme Education Council (SEC) directs the nation’s education policy.
