وصف الشركة The club established in 1951, has played a pioneering role in introducing, sustaining, and popularizing the sport of Golf in the State of Qatar. Since its humble beginning as 09-hole brown course with sand and oil mixture, was originally developed as an alternative for the grass course by oil drilling pioneers for the sport then known as “Dessert-Golf”. In 1959 the Course was further developed into 18-hole course in order to host the Middle East Oil Industry Golf Association (MEOIGA) Trophy Championships. Qatar Petroleum has since then taken pride in maintaining the course. The Club hosts the prestigious QP Challenge Trophy and several other sponsored competitions and championships. The Club members are QP senior staff (SS) and associate members.
