The Company was established in 2004 and the name was taken from the national tree of Qatar “Ziziphus Spina Christi“ locally known as the Sidra Tree. Upon inception, Sidra has become the leading company in the provision of state-of-the-art services in terms of landscaping works in the region. Sidra’s renowned reputation for excellent service, timely and on-budget completion and delivery, high level of professionalism, as well as having regard for cultural andenvironmental concerns, has made Sidra one of the leading choices of Qatar’s Governmental Agencies, Private Institutions and Individual Citizens. In August 2015, Sidra Agriculture Company was acquired by His Highness, Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Thani. Given this, Sidra has become a part of Bin Omran Trading & Contracting L.L.C.
