وصف الشركة Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO), a joint venture, was established in 1974. It is currently owned by Industries Qatar 80% and Total Petrochemicals (France) 20%. QAPCO has two joint ventures, namely, Qatofin Company Limited and Qatar Vinyl Company Limited, and has an associate company, Qatar Plastic Products Company. Qapco and its two joint ventures are engaged in the production of polyolefins, polyethylene and chlor-alkali products. The following is the share that QAPCO's main products currently contribute to within the group's production and sales capacity:
